A building and civil engineering company located on the Island, which specializes in conventional building construction techniques, prefabrication systems, infrastructure construction and development, as well as electro-mechanical projects is in need of a Male Secretary to its General Manager – Legal and Administration.

Position: Secretary (Legal & Administration Department).
Experience: 2 years and above.
Location: VGC, Lagos (Preferably resident on the Island)
Remuneration: N80, 000.00k (Negotiable)
Type: Contract (1 Year – Renewable)
Qualification: B.Sc./HND (Administration, Management or any related discipline)

 

Responsibilities:
The position revolves around managing and distributing information within and outside the office. It generally includes taking/making phone calls, notes, and memos, preparing legal documents and maintaining files. As Secretary, you will also be in charge of organizing and scheduling appointments, planning meetings and taking detailed minutes. You will write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and forms. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, develop and maintain a filing system, update and maintain office policies and procedures, order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers (when necessary), maintain contact lists, make travel arrangements, provide general support to visitors, act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, liaise with all departments to handle requests, handle other secretarial duties on request.

 

Requirements:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems, procurement processes and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment i.e., printers, etc.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure
Additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
